The Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club Show Jumping Training Competition
The Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club proudly hosted a Show Jumping Training Competition on Wednesday the 14th of December 2016.
A fun and relaxed evening with Christmas cheer with festive music and a fancy dress class. Laura Jurs judged the classes and was very pleased with the outcome, seeing some very promising riders and horses. “The level of equestrian disciplines in general is rising in the UAE and with these arenas and facilities it can only get even better. I look forward to seeing the Al Habtoor [Polo Resort and Club] stables grow.”
Riders and horses from several stables competed, including from HH Sheikha Hissa Bint Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Al Awir Stables.
Over 50 entries competed in the 6 classes, which went up to jumps of 110 cm. Once again the feedback from riders was great and everyone is happy to have this excellent facility adding to the equestrian community of the UAE.
The winners of class 6 were:
1st place Frederikke Graabaek on Con Ca’s Boy
2nd place Reem Al-Shahwan on Cara
3rd place Abigail Thornborrow on Tulipe Due Gue
4th place Samia Ataya on The Real Deal Holyfield
5th place Caroline Erickson on Econan
